My Story
I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. My childhood unfolded inside a martial arts center alongside my father, where physical training was inseparable from philosophy, ethics, humility, and service. Strength, I learned early, was never about force, but about responsibility and character.
When I was ten years old, my father suffered a stroke that left him blind and paralyzed. Caring for him was not a choice; it was a sacred responsibility entrusted to me. Those years became one of the greatest gifts of my life. They became an opportunity to serve, to practice compassion through action, and to understand the healing power of presence. Through my devotion to my father, I discovered my calling: to honor life through care, and extend that care beyond my family and into the world.
After losing my father, my life entered a far more challenging chapter. In 2000, as I became a world and European Champion in martial arts, I was targeted by the Islamic Republic, imprisoned, and subject to physical and psychological torture, including being twice forced into staged executions. To survive, I fled Iran and sought political asylum in Germany.
In Germany, I continued competing internationally while pursuing higher education. I earned two master’s degrees in computer science and continued advanced studies across sports science, health, rehabilitation, recovery, and wellness. In 2007, I immigrated to the United States through a talent-based Green Card, carrying forward my work with clarity and purpose.
Today, my work focuses on recovery and rehabilitation, pain management, weightless, metabolic optimization, hypnotherapy, life coaching, longevity, and anti-aging wellness, biohacking, and optimizing human performance.
I am the host and producer of the “Circle of Health” radio show on Radio Hamrah, and the founder of Grandmaster Ladan’s Wellness Sanctuary, based in Beverly Hills and serving clients worldwide where I help individuals restore balance, resilience, and trust in their bodies.
What brings me the greatest fulfillment is the impact that I have on others and I feel deeply grateful that my journey has allowed me to serve others within my community around the world. I take pride in the lives that I have touched, the strength I have helped others rediscover, and the hope I have seen return to people who once felt limited by pain or circumstance. I did not retreat in the face of adversity; I chose growth, ,contribution, and service.
“Commit. Train. Achieve. I believe the body is the temple in which we live. When we care for ourselves, we gain the strength to care for others and to lead with integrity.” - Grandmaster Ladan
